Leahill Turret was one of the many lookout towers built along Hadrian's Wall in Northern England by the Roman Empire. The turret was built c. 122 AD and used in the 2nd and 4th century.
Along Hadrian's Wall there were many milecastles and turrets, which are still visible today.
The foundations of this lookout post can still clearly be seen today.
