The powerful Indonesian businessman and politician Aburizal Bakrie paid about $24M for this newly-constructed mansion above the Sunset Strip. Bakrie was once Indonesia's richest man, but his fortune has since reportedly dwindled substantially.

Bakrie also owns another expensive property in nearby Beverly Hills.

In February 2017, this house was sold to Thai billionaire Chanchai Ruayrungruang.
