The last residence of Brazilian television icon Hebe Camargo stood in the upscale neighborhood of Cidade Jardim, São Paulo. For decades, it served as both her home and a reflection of her elegant, vibrant personality. After Hebe’s passing in 2012, the property remained largely untouched, preserving much of her furniture, artwork, and personal memorabilia — a time capsule of one of Brazil’s most beloved entertainers.
The house was later occupied by Hebe’s son, Marcello Camargo, who lived there for several years before deciding to sell it. Situated on a vast 7,000-square-meter plot, the mansion was one of the most valuable properties in the neighborhood, surrounded by lush gardens and featuring grand interior spaces where Hebe hosted many of her famous gatherings.
In 2023, the property was sold for approximately 30 million reais. Marcello confirmed that the mansion would be demolished to make way for a new residential development. He explained that, without his mother, the house had lost its meaning — maintaining such a large estate no longer made sense.
Although the iconic house no longer exists, Hebe’s legacy continues to live on. Many of her personal belongings, awards, and clothing are being preserved and displayed in a thematic space dedicated to celebrating her life and career — ensuring that, even without her Cidade Jardim home, Hebe Camargo’s presence remains deeply felt in Brazilian culture.
