Founded in 1998, the Helena Bighorns is a Tier III Junior A ice hockey team. They currently compete in the American West Hockey League, which features teams in Montana and Wyoming. They previously played in the Northern Pacific Hockey League, where they won five league titles. In 2010, the team won the National Tier III championship.
The bus is parked in the parking lot of the team's arena.
