Treasure hunters believe that, on the grounds of this 18th century palce which was used as a brothel by Hitler's SS, they will uncover over 10 tonnes of gold and valuables, stolen on the order of Heinrich Himmler towards the end of WWII to set up a Fourth Reich.
The horde, known as 'Gold of Breslau', went missing from a police headquarters near the city of Wroclaw. The valuables belonged to wealthy Germans who were forced to hand over their possessions to the SS.
Within a newly discovered secret diary entry, dated 12 MAR 1945, it says that the treasure was buried within the orangery of the property, which was used as a brothel by high-ranking SS officers.
