Johannes Peter "Honus" Wagner aka The Flying Dutchman for his speed and Deutsch heritage. Honus was a shortstop from 1897 to 1917, mostly for the Pittsburg Pirates. He was one of the inaugural members of the Baseball Hall of Fame receiving the same amount of votes as Babe Ruth.
