Beau-Rivage Geneva is a five star luxury hotel.
The Austrian Empress, Elisabeth of Wittelsbach, Sissi, was stabbed to death by an anarchist soon after she left Beau-Rivage (1898), she slept here the last night of her life.

Uwe Barschel, Minister-President of Schleswig-Holstein (Germany) was found dead in his Beau-Rivage room (1987), circumstances of his death still remain unclear.
