Ice rink on Soldier Field

The Hockey City Classic was held at Soldier Field on February 17, 2013. Two college hockey games were played on the home field of the NFL's Chicago Bears.

Notre Dame defeated Miami (OH) 2-1 in an early afternoon game. In the early evening hours, Wisconsin beat Minnesota 3-2 in front of a crowd of over 52,000 fans.

Soldier Field will hold an outdoor NHL game in 2014 between the Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins.
