Il Castello Utveggio

Il Castello Utveggio

Palermo, Italy (IT)
Utveggio Castle is characterising the "most beautiful promontory of the world", as Wolfgang Goethe defined Monte Pellegrino in the pages of his "Viaggio in Italia".

From the "Primo Pizzo", at 346 mt above sea level, the Castle overlooks Palermo, and from its windows you can see the "Conca d’oro", the Gulf from Capo Zafferano to Sferracavallo and, sometimes, Etna mountain and Aeolian Islands.
