Jacob Gade (29. November 1879 – 20 February 1963) was a Danish compose. He was born in the danish town of Vejle. He lived in this house in Thorø Huse near Assens on the island Funen from 1943 to his death.
Jacob Gades most famous composition Worldwide is the "Tango Jalousie" or just "Jalousie" which he composed in 1925 at his summer house at Tibirke north of Copenhagen.
A memorial plaque is on the house.
