Jarome Arthur-Leigh Adekunle Tig Junior Elvis Iginla (born July 1, 1977) is a forward currently playing with the NHL's Boston Bruins. He is often considered the best black player in the history of the NHL.

Iginla made his NHL debut in the 1996 playoffs with the Calgary Flames. He remained in Calgary until March 2013, when he was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins. A few months later, he became a free agent and chose to sign with the Boston Bruins.

In 17 seasons (through the 13-14 season), he has recorded 560 goals and 607 assists in 1310 regular season games . In 2002 and 2004, he led the league in goals scored. He has played on the Canadian national team in three Olympics and in three other world tournaments.
