Jeddah Tower or Burj Jeddah (FKA as Kingdom Tower, is a skyscraper construction project in Jeddah. It's planned to be the first 1 km (3,281 ft) tall building and would be the world's tallest building or structure upon completion, standing 180 m taller than the Burj Khalifa. Located in the N side of Jeddah, it's the centerpiece of the Jeddah Economic City project. After almost 5 years of inactivity, development work on the project resumed in 2023.
On 1/20/2025, Kingdom Holding Company said that construction has officially resumed on the project.
Burj Khalifa will remain the world's tallest building by roof height.
