Jeff Spicoli Was Here... Van Nuys High School

Located in the Van Nuys community of Los Angeles's San Fernando Valley, this is quite an historic high school. It was opened in 1914 when Van Nuys was a very rural community. Today Van Nuys is 100% the opposite of rural. The high school has had literally hundreds of famous graduates including Paula Abdul, Marilyn Monroe and Robert Redford.

Most exterior scenes of Ridgemont High in the 1982 classic movie "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" were filmed at Van Nuys HS.
