Jeffrey Bruce "Jeff" Skiles (born November 18, 1959) is an airline pilot for American Airlines. On January 15, 2009, he became globally known as co-pilot of US Airways Flight 1549, when he worked together with captain Chesley Sullenberger to land the aircraft on the Hudson River after the plane lost both of its engines.
