This is the site of Bing Crosby's former estate that burned down in a fire in January 1943. Crosby built the estate in 1936 after selling the house on nearby Forman Avenue.

After this house was destroyed Crosby moved his family to an estate on South Mapleton Drive in Holmby Hills (The estate in Holmby Hills was demolished in 1988 after it was purchased by TV producer Aaron Spelling and is now the site of 56.000 sqft "The Manor").

The comedian and actor Jerry Van Dyke owned this home from 1993 until selling it in 1997 for $1.93 Million. This is also the former home of actor Andy Griffith and actress Mila Jovovich.

The house was last sold in 2011 for $4 Million.
