Mr. Cohen was chief executive officer of MicroWorks, Inc., a systems integration company involved in the development of custom information systems. In 1976, Mr. Cohen founded Micrognosis Inc., a seller of turnkey information distribution systems for Wall Street trading operations. Mr. Cohen was chief executive officer and controlling stockholder of Micrognosis until he sold it to Control Data Corporation in 1987. Mr. Cohen subsequently served as a consultant to, and a board member of, Micrognosis through 1990.
