John Burnham was an attorney and artist.
In 2002, the property was purchased by Palm Springs builder David Johnston who turned the property into a high-end rental property featuring six homes with a combined 13 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, 6 kitchens, 7 spas, two pools, parking for 85 cars and two separate venue areas designed for anything from weddings to charity events.
The property was featured in the 6th episode of season 4 of Bravo TV's 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'.
