John Gilbert Getty's House

John Getty is a musician and the son of billionaire oil heir Gordon Getty. He paid just under $2M for this Hollywood Hills house in October 2014.

Earlier that October, Getty sold his famous "Castle" estate in Los Feliz to translator and art historian Muna El Fituri, the ex-wife of world-renowned art guru Okwui Enwezor and the girlfriend of renowned sculptor Thomas Houseago. At $8.3 million, the sale of the Castle currently represents the highest price ever paid for a house in Los Feliz, according to public records.
