The late Beatles singer purchased this property in 1965 for $25,000 for the use of his Aunt Mimi. Lennon was murdered in 1980. Following Mimi's death in 1992, Lennon's widow, Yoko Ono sold the property. The original home has since been demolished and this new ultra-modern home built in its site.
