The creator of "Traveler's Tales", a leading gaming company for young gamers, and co-exec producer of "The Lego Movie" lives here in Malibu. He and his wife Helen purchased the estate in late 2012 for $36.5M, one of the highest prices ever recorded in Malibu.

In 2007, Burton sold Traveler's Tales to Warner Bros. for approximately $200M.

Prior to the Burtons, this was the longtime beach house of Max Palevsky, the late American art collector, venture capitalist, philanthropist, and computer technology pioneer.
