H. Upmann is the brand name of a cigar produced in Cuba for Habanos SA. It is one of the oldest cigar brands, dating back to 1844. After the Cuban Revolution the brand split with part moving to the Dominican Republic under Imperial Tobacco and later Altadis SA. The Cuban produced cigars are still hand rolled in the Jose Marti Havana factory. The tobacco originates from the premium Vuelta Abajo region.

US President John F. Kennedy favored the now discontinued H. Upmann Petit Upmann. He apparently had aide Pierre Salinger procure several boxes before JFK signed the Cuban Embargo.
