Before you judge, do some due diligence and stop being such a hater. Joyce takes no salary and makes money writing books - should she be living in a shack? She started from nothing and worked hard to get where she is. Her ministries have helped thousands of people. What have you done? I find it sad and ironic that people have more disdain for people doing good and living well than investment bankers who do less and make a ton of money.

Good for her! She had a hellish childhood, lousy 1st marriage, spent the following years working through all the demons w/in & putting them & all her struggles out there for peeps like you to take her apart just to help others. Oh My Goodness!! She has written over 100 books you judgemental, ignorant fool! That's where she made her $ Why is it that authors like Steven King who write about horrific things can live high & no one bats an eye but when someone writes for others in order to help them & makes a good living then those same peeps need to try & tear them down? She does amazing things for others w/ the donations she gets. She leaves her financials open for others to see. She spent hours sacrificing time w/ her family to write & study Why shouldn't she enjoy the $ she earns as a writer?

You're describing ALL churches who pressure tithing and get fat "secret" salaries from their flock. Zero disclosure. It's like a pyramid scam. I give secretly w a cheerful heart - NOT to Pastors greed salaries. The church needs a re- organization and get right by God and truely following Jesus Christ. God Help Us!

I don't understand the haters! When you're a NYT Best Seller you make stacks of money, becasue you've worked for it. If she wasn't a Minister of the Gospel no one would care, but she doesn't live off her ministry. She's one very hard working woman and deserves her due!

To the person who is being critical of her wealth, you must understand that you're going to get incredible backlash from those that adore her and idolize her. They believe every word she speaks, so anything she says about her pitiful past and how hard she's had it in life and everything is going to be 100% absorbed. And if they come out with a video of her eating puppies for breakfast, and babies for lunch, they are probably going to tell you that God needed her to have special protein that only these can provide in order to save the world with her special message. So, you're up against an impossible task.

Where much is given, much is expected. She and her husband and family are faithful and give all of themselves to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to millions around the world. Not to mention all the outreach programs they have and the funds they get from their followers make this possible. Haters hate. Jesus provides.

when i meet a famous tv evangelist who lives a modest life with a true desire to help ordenary people and maybe a desire to help the homeless and hopeless i can respect that person.
