Just before midnight on 30 January 2010 gunmen drove up to 1310 Villa del Portal in Ciudad Juárez and began firing on people attending a teenage birthday party. The shooting spread to 1308 and 1306: the next two houses to the left in the map.
News reports vary as to the number of dead: between 14-16; mostly high school students.
