Julio Ramirez is a former employee of boutique investment bank Blackstone and Weatherly Capital Group. In 2009, he plead guilty to criminal securities fraud. He and his wife Annette Castro have long been active in Los Angeles politics, managing the mayoral campaigns of Richard Riordan and Jim Hahn, among others.
The couple paid just over $5 million for this 6,000 sq. foot home in 2005.
