Karaweik Palace Restaurant

Karaweik Palace Restaurant

Yangon, Myanmar (MM)
A unique restaurant built in the style of royal barge used by Myanmar’s former kings, over the waters of Kandawgyi Lake, a large park 2km east of Shwedagon Paya. The 'barge' is actually concrete and does not float; its two prows are in the shape of the mythical sacred hamsa bird, a goose / swan.
