On Wednesday 3rd August 2022 members of Radio Club 44 YU1AAA from Beograd, Serbia reached the summit of Katunić and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 40 contacts in total working on the 40, 30 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.

The summit of Katunić is 1733 metres (5883 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
