On Thursday 11th August 2022, Leo OE/DL2COM/P a radio amateur from Germany reached the summit of Kellerjoch and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 46 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 40, 20 and 17 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit Kellerjoch is 2344 metres (7690 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
