Klemstrup Skov Dysser (Dolmens)

Klemstrup Skov Dysser (Dolmens)

Nimtofte, Denmark (DK)
Located in Djursland, Denmark in Klemstrup forest are the remains of two Neolithic dolmens. Both dolmens lie close to the road on each side.

The northern dolmen is surrounded by 28 edge stones. The burial chamber is still clearly visible but its capstone has been removed. The damaged capstone can, however, be seen not too far from the actual chamber. The chamber lies slightly hidden from the road between some trees. The mound that surrounded the chamber has been destroyed.
