A few miles south of Charlotte, NC over the NC-SC stateline, this stadium was built to possibly be expanded into a temporary Major League ballpark should Charlotte somehow obtain a team... hasn't happened and no outlook for it to happen.
The stadium is still one of the best in the south for minor league baseball - it's the home field of the Charlotte Knights (http://www.charlotteknights.com) of the International League, the AAA affiliate of the (soon-to-be 2005 World Series Champion?!) Chicago White Sox.
