Kong Humbles Grav (Long Barrow)

Kong Humbles Grav (Long Barrow)

Rudkobing, Denmark (DK)
Kong Humbles Grav is a long barrow dating back to the Neolithic era located on the Danish island of Langeland. It is one of the best preserved on the entire island. The barrow is still in good condition and still clearly visible. The majority of the kerbstones that follow the edge of the barrow are intact and remain in situ. A dolmen is also preserved at the site and consists of one capstone being supported by three to four support stones. As the site is located far out in a field a natural path has been created so visitors can reach the site without damaging the field's crops.
