On Sunday 10th July 2022 Chris F/HB9CYV/P a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of L’Altenberg and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 39 contacts in total working on the 60, 40, 30 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
