Latin Quarter Nighclub (Former Location)

Miami Beach, Florida (FL), US
The Palm Island Club, originally opened in 1922, on the private Palm Island, became, in 1939, The Latin Quarter Club, which was owned by Lou Walters, father of famed reporter Barbara Walters.

The original club's location on Palm Island allowed it to combat prohibition era bans on alcohol. Walters' club was one of Miami Beach's most famous, hosting Sammy Davis, Jr., Milton Berle, and many others.
