'Legs' by Larry Rivers

A controversial sculpture that was ordered to be removed by a judge in 2012 but it never happened. Rivers created the Legs as part of a piece called, "Forty Feet of Fashion" for the Smith Haven Mall on Long Island. During a renovation, the sculpture was removed and Rivers kept the legs at his Southhampton studio. A second set was recast in 1994. The legs were located here in 2008.
