The Clos Lucé was the official residence of Leonardo da Vinci between 1516 and 1519 when da Vinci died. Leonardo was invited to work and live at Clos Lucé which was near King Francis I of France. Da Vinci completed the following works at Clos Lucé: Mona Lisa, Sainte Anne, and Saint Jean Baptiste.
