On Saturday 25th2022 Paul K9PM/P a radio amateur from Box Elder, SD reached the summit of Little Squaw Mountain and activated the summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
Paul made 24 contacts in total working on 17, 20, 30 and 40 metres amateur radio bands.
The summit of Little Squaw Mountain is 2411 metres (7910 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups data base.
