The island was developed in the 1930's by Wallace Groves, a US businessman. In 1985 he sold the island to the current owners who offer the island to paying guests. The island offers three houses, a sea-view infinity pool, fitness center, tennis court and boats for fishing or cruising. The facility also houses 8 full-time staff but when guests arrive the number can jump to 13.
