Liverpool Cathedral (Paddy's Wigwam)

Liverpool Cathedral (Paddy's Wigwam)

Liverpool, United Kingdom (GB)
Proper name is Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King. Which is a bit awkward. But then so was Christ the king. In a good way.

Designed by Frederick Gibberd in 1967.

The Roman Catholic Cathedral, in other words. The two cathedrals are about half a mile apart, and the street which principally connects the is called Hope Street, which always seems to amaze and amuse visitors - but then Liverpool is known for it's sense of humour!
