The top floor of 5-6 Argyll St London, England is the former location of the head quarters for NEMS Enterprises, Brian Epstein's company famous for discovering and managing the Beatles. He worked here between 1966-67 (his death). The company moved to this location in 1966 from the previous location on Monmouth St. also featured on this site.
It is also the location where the Beatles often held interviews with the press and where John Lennon infamously stated "We're more popular than Jesus.." triggering an uproar with Christian communities around the world resulting in Beatles boycotts, anti-Beatles demonstrations and record burnings.
