Loch Shiel is an 11.3 mile long freshwater loch on the western side of the Scottish Highlands. The memorial seen in the picture is a memorial to the Jacobites. Prince Charles Edward Stuart came ashore in an attempt to reclaim Scotland and England for the Catholic house of Stuart.
