The longest hedge maze in the World is here in Wraxall at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm. Planted in 2003 the hedge maze is 3.2 km long, 300 m more than Longleat and 53 m more than the Peacemaze in Northern Ireland. 14,000 thousand beech trees were planted in the maze, laid out in the shape of Noah’s Ark and 7 monster animals. It is laid out mainly in green beech (to feed the camels and giraffes on the cuttings), with the animal outlines in copper beech.
