The Masjid E Quba Mosque on Gower Street in Bolton is one of the 28 mosques in the town which serve the Muslim community.
The first British Muslims arrived in Bolton in the late 1950’s and today (2022) 12% of the town’s population are members of the Muslim faith.
The Masjid E Quba Mosque is a member of the Bolton Council of Mosques who work to ensure that Muslim community’s voice is heard particularly by local government but also that it is represented at regional and national level.
