Matt Lauer's Ranch

The news journalist and former host of NBC's Today Show from 1997-2017 purchased this 27,180 acre ranch, Hunter Valley Station, located on New Zealand's south island, for a reported $9.2M in February 2017. New Zealand's Overseas Investment Office approved Lauer's purchased through his Orange Lakes Limited company due to his notoriety and being of good character. The OIO is now reportedly reconsidering it's approval due to Lauer's recent firing by NBC after multiple accusations of sexual assault.
