Metroplex BMX facility

"Metroplex BMX, America’s first covered facility built exclusively for BMX racing, opened to the public as it hosted the ABA SuperNationals on October 15 - 17, 1999. In addition to the prestigious SuperNationals, the facility will play host to a busy schedule of local, district, state, regional and national motos year-round in all ABA racing categories.

This is a $1.5 million, 60,000 square foot lighted and covered facility built by the City of DeSoto at Grimes Park. The 1,000 foot track was constructed by the American Bicycle Association’s track building staff and contains 1,000 yards of hand-packed dirt.
