This was the final home of the late Michael Jackson. He was leasing this home for $100,000 a month at the time of his death in June 2009. The owner of the house at the time was Hubert Guez, founder of Ed Hardy clothing line. After Jackson's death, Guez sold the house for $18.5 Million in November 2012 to Stephen Mayer, a senior managing director of private investment firm Cerberus Capital Management.

The 17,171 square foot house was built in 2002 by megamansion developer Mohamed Hadid and designed by architect Richard Landry. The estate is located in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles.
