The retired professional ice hockey player who played as a goaltender for the Calgary Flames, Detroit Red Wings, San Jose Sharks and the Florida Panthers and the Stanley Cup as a member of the Flames in 1989 and then again in 1997 with the Red Wings lived here.
When he sold the house it was setting the benchmark for the highest MLS residential sale price in Calgary.
