On Sunday 9th October 2022, F/M0DHY/P, a radio amateur from Scotland reached the summit of Mirabail and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 20 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.
