On Saturday 29th June 2024, Chris PY2GUT, a radio amateur from São Paulo city, Brazil, reached the summit of Mirante in the Nordeste Region of the State of São Paulo, Brazil.
While at the summit of Mirante, Chris made contact with Carlos PY2VM from São Paulo, and Nylson PY1NP from Rio de Janeiro, on the 40m amateur radio band.
Mirante (PY2/NE-002) has a rating of 10 points on the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group's summits database.
