Mohamed Ahmar, born in Baalbeck, Lebanon 1961, and graduated I.C. 1980. Mohamed is the founder of ICG, a leading specialty distributor of desktop displays, A/V presentation products and digital imaging peripherals for the commercial and consumer technology markets.
Initially formed in San Jose, CA. in 1985, the company operated seven full-service distribution centers across the nation. As a result of Ahmar’s leadership, ICG had twice been listed as one of Inc. Magazine’s 500 fastest growing US companies. ICG ranked on the list of top 100 private California companies in 2005.
Ahmar earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering from Northrop University and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization.
