A new set was constructed for season 2's Winterfell scenes on the grounds of this estate. First seen in episode #203. Winterfell was revisited here in season five starting with episode #503. Bran watches his father when he was young in episode #602. Bran sees the origin of Hodor in episode #605. The giant forces his way into the castle and Jon's forces defeat the Boltons in episode #609. Also served as the courtyard for the infamous Red Wedding in Season 3.
