On Tuesday 5th July 2022 Claudio IX1IHR/P a radio amateur from Italy reached the summit of Monte Genevris and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 14 contacts in total working on the 20 and 30 metre HF amateur radio bands.
